HHB&T is conveniently located at the north end of Hilton Head Island on Folly Field Beach, one of Hilton Head Island's most beautiful family beaches. Just an easy 4 minute walk from our villa is one of our resort's 4 boardwalks to the sand! You will fall in love with the wide, beautiful shoreline that has plenty of space even in the height of summer. The sand is clean with virtually no seaweed and the ocean water is relatively shallow, making it ideal for wading, swimming and boogie boarding. There are lifeguards on the beach from March to October.
As you enter the gated resort, you'll be greeted by beautifully landscaped grounds and a refreshing ocean breeze. Our villa is in a quiet area of the resort next to a lagoon, but still within a 2-5 minutes' walk from all the amenities the resort has to offer.
Best Pool on Hilton Head Island
You and your family will love our 2 resort pools. The Olympic size main pool (the largest oceanfront pool on Hilton Head Island) is just a 4 minute walk from our villa and right on the beach boardwalk. It features a kiddie pool, spacious pool deck, and plenty of lounge chairs for relaxing in the sun or shade.
In the summer, the resort has a full schedule of family activities, including a pool dance party, karaoke, dive-in movie night, "tattoos" and hair-braiding all at the main pool.
There is a second smaller pool at the other end of the resort near the Admirals Row building. Both pools are open year-round, but are not heated.
Lots of Family Friendly Amenities
Right outside the main pool gate is an ice cream/sno cone stand and Jamaica Joe'z, a beach bar and grill with tropical drinks and live music throughout the summer. There are restrooms outside Jamaica Joe'z for beachgoers and pool visitors. Near the main pool is a beach volleyball court, shuffleboard, an outdoor fitness area, and some picnic tables.
In the back of the resort, just 2 minutes from our villa, your children will be delighted to find our large playground, a half-basketball court, picnic tables, charcoal grills, and a backboard.
The resort has 8 lighted hard surface tennis courts, 4 pickle ball courts, and a Pro Shop where you can borrow racquets and balls and even sign up for lessons from the resort pro. Like all resort amenities, tennis and pickleball play are free for all guests of the resort.
In the Pro Shop, there is a newly renovated fitness center with treadmills, exercise bikes, a universal machine, and free weights. In the back of the Pro shop building, there is a coin-operated laundry room (with change machine) for guests to use.
Just steps from our villa is a bicycle rental kiosk and the security gate which is manned with security guards 24/7.
At the front of the resort, there are 2 more restaurants: Coconut'z Sportz Bar (with varied menu, a full bar, 23 TVs with all the current games, pool tables, dart boards, and sometimes live music) and Gator'z Pizza and Wingz. Both restaurants are very casual and family friendly.
As you can see, there is has plenty for your family to do without ever leaving the resort!
